Press and Publications
Since St. Ignatius of Loyola bought a printing press in 1556, the Jesuits have always been involved in communications through popular media.
St Thomas Institute has been publishing its own journal TOCHKI-PUNCTA, a quarterly journal on religion, culture and society. It provides a forum for an exchange of ideas and intuitions on questions and problems of today's society.
Since 2002, Institute began publishing BIBLIOTHECA IGNATIANA, a series of scholarly books, which treat subjects in theology, spirituality and sciences. So far, we have published 60 titles in less than 10 years.
Since 2006, Institute has been publishing already well-established journal SIMVOL, which devotes its pages to the study of Christian culture. Started in 1979 at the Slavic library in Paris, France, it has successfully carved a niche in contributing a fruitful and productive dialogue between the Christian East and the Christian West.
